KOVAS regularly holds Social Events which aim to bring members of the Sydney Lithuanian Community together in a fun and family friendly environment. Funds raised at our events help keep KOVAS financially viable.
Events are open to anyone - whether you're a Kovas member, a Lithuanian community member, family, friends or neighbours - all are welcome to attend.

Adelaide Vytis will host the 72nd Sporto Šventė in Adelaide from Friday 27 December to Tuesday 31 December 2024. Šventė also coincides with the Australian Lithuanian Days festival.
Vytis have advised that sports on offer may include:
- Basketball – men's, women's, mixed, and junior divisions
- Volleyball – mixed
- Golf
- Billiards
- Futsal – mixed
- Netball – mixed
- Swimming – kids/ juniors
- Chess
- Tennis - men's, women's, mixed doubles
- Table Tennis
- Darts
- Orienteering – kids/ juniors
In addition to our Annual Sporto Šventė, SLSK KOVAS also organises and participates in other sporting events such as the Baltic Games against Latvian and Estonian teams; the Mickus Cup (Sydney Kovas vs Melbourne Varpas); and Kovas Reunion Games.
